Welcome to the Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology in the department of medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville.
Patient Care
The division provides expert medical care at UF Health Jacksonville, a 695-bed tertiary care teaching hospital near Downtown Jacksonville; the 92-bed UF Health North on the city’s Northside; and UF Health Deerwood Park in Southside Jacksonville.
Education
Our division offers a two-year, ACGME-accredited rheumatology subspecialty fellowship-training program. We are also involved in the department’s internal medicine residency program and undergraduate medical education elective/clerkship courses for third and fourth-year medical students.
In addition to participation in the core lectures, academic and teaching activities of the department’s residency and fellowship programs at UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville, we offer an electronic lecture series on rheumatological topics and musculoskeletal ultrasound, which may be viewed and downloaded on-demand while on campus. Such lectures have short quizzes at the end and foster electronic simulated medical education for students and trainees while on rheumatology rotations.
