About Ko-Yun Chang
Ko-Yun Chang, MD, is a University of Florida assistant professor and a pulmonologist at UF Health Jacksonville. Dr. Chang specializes in general internal medicine, pulmonary and critical care medicine, and pulmonary disease.
Dr. Chang received her medical degree from Palacky University Olomouc in Olomouc, Czech Republic, and completed her internal medicine residency at Taichung Veterans General Hospital in Taichung, Taiwan. Her areas of interest include asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM).
Dr. Chang’s mission is to provide comprehensive and effective healthcare grounded in evidence-based medicine and respect for each patient’s individuality. She believes every person’s unique needs, values and goals should guide medical decisions. She also strives to foster a collaborative environment where patients feel heard, informed and empowered to take an active role in their health.
In her free time, Dr. Chang enjoys playing badminton with her family and friends. She is fluent in English and Chinese.
