Georges El Khoury, M.D.

Georges El Khoury, MD, is a cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. He brings a diverse international training background and a strong commitment to academic medicine, clinical excellence, and patient-centered cardiovascular care. Dr. El Khoury earned his medical degree from the University of Balamand in Lebanon, completed his Internal Medicine training at Saint George Hospital University Medical Center, and pursued his Cardiology Fellowship at the American University of Beirut. He subsequently completed advanced subspecialty training in Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Toronto, Canada, where he gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of complex heart rhythm disorders.

Dr. El Khoury’s clinical interests include cardiovascular imaging, echocardiography, valvular heart disease, preventive cardiology, and heart rhythm disorders. He is committed to the early detection and comprehensive management of cardiovascular disease, utilizing advanced imaging techniques and evidence-based therapies to guide diagnosis and treatment. His goal is to provide personalized cardiovascular care that improves both long-term outcomes and quality of life for his patients.
