Cristina Font, M.D.

Cristina Font, MD, is a University of Florida assistant professor in the department of medicine and a Cardiovascular Disease physician at UF Health Jacksonville.

She provides comprehensive cardiovascular care for adults with a wide range of heart conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and hypertension, with a strong emphasis on cardiovascular disease prevention. Her clinical interests include echocardiography and intraprocedural imaging for structural heart interventions.

Dr. Font earned her medical degree in Puerto Rico at San Juan Bautista School of Medicine, completed her internal medicine residency at Brown University, and completed her cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville, where she served as Chief Cardiology Fellow.

She is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care while helping patients understand their cardiovascular health and participate in shared decision-making. Her academic interests include cardiovascular imaging and medical education, and she enjoys mentoring trainees and contributing to the education of future cardiologists.
