Clinical Profile
The PAIDD Clinic, which specializes in treating adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), currently operates for a full day on Tuesdays. We are in the process of planning to extend our services by adding another half-day on Friday mornings, specifically for telehealth consultations.
Each clinic appointment is scheduled for a duration of 30 minutes. Our team often includes third-year medical students from the University of Florida, Gainesville, who rotate through our clinic for their training. Additionally, third-year residents also rotate with us, gaining valuable practical experience.
Our staff includes a registered nurse (RN) who plays a crucial role in coordinating care. The RN is also responsible for assisting with paperwork related to Durable Medical Equipment (DME), group homes, and follow-up consultations both pre and post service.
