About Ashley Mohadjer

Ashley Mohadjer, DO is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at the UF College of Medicine, Jacksonville.

Dr. Mohadjer graduated from Western University of Health Sciences with Sigma Sigma Phi honors, where she began her path as a clinician educator after completing a competitive pre-doctoral teaching fellowship. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH and subsequently completed cardiovascular medicine training at the University of Florida -Gainesville, where she served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Mohadjer then completed advanced training in interventional cardiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She practiced in Arkansas where she became the Medical Director for the cardiovascular rehab program prior to joining UF Health. Dr. Mohadjer is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, and interventional cardiology.

Dr. Mohadjer is passionate about coronary intervention, with strong interest in intracoronary imaging with intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) or optical coherence tomography (OCT). She also has particular interest in coronary lithotripsy, and complex coronary artery disease including high risk/ supported percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) involving the left main coronary artery. She also does peripheral vascular interventions. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Mohadjer has dedicated herself to education and leadership throughout her career, and currently serves as a member of the Ischemic Heart Disease Council for the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention (SCAI). She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) as well as for the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention.
