About Ali Zgheib
Ali Zgheib, MD, is an interventional structural cardiologist and assistant professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. He treats complex coronary and structural heart disease, focusing on advanced transcatheter valve therapies and minimally invasive care for high-risk patients.
Dr. Zgheib completed his general cardiovascular disease fellowship at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. He then pursued advanced training in interventional and structural cardiology at the McGill University Health Centre in Montreal, Canada. His training included extensive experience in transcatheter valve interventions. He is also skilled in congenital and valvular procedures, as well as advanced cardiac CT analysis.
His expertise includes TAVR, MitraClip/TEER, TriClip, transcatheter mitral, tricuspid, and pulmonary valve procedures for native and congenital anatomy, left atrial appendage occlusion, paravalvular leak closure, alcohol septal ablation and congenital interventions like PFO and ASD closure.
