Welcome to the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program within the division of pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine in the department of medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. This one-year program offers outstanding training for ABIM subspecialty fellows wishing to pursue further Critical Care training and is accredited through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, or ACGME. Our fellowship aims to facilitate the development of important skills in the effective practice of critical care medicine. These include professional relationship-building with colleagues and staff, teaching and presentation skills, independent decision-making and administrative skills. To develop these skills, graded levels of responsibility are woven into the curriculum. In general, it encompasses the areas of teaching, patient care, management and research.

In addition to the above professional opportunities, Jacksonville, Florida is an ideal place to live and work – it is home to perfect weather, abundant beaches, unlimited outdoor sports and the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars.
