How to Apply

Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship

Applications for the pulmonary disease and critical care medicine fellowship are considered via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

The fellowship program currently includes a total of seven positions that are distributed among the three training years. As of July 2021, each incoming class consists of three positions.

For specific eligibility requirements, please refer to the GME benefits, requirements and resources page.

All applicants for the fellowship must have completed a 3-year internal medicine residency from an ACGME-accredited training program and be ABIM eligible or certified in internal medicine.

In alignment with the Association of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Program Directors (APCCMPD), our national professional society, and to ensure a uniform interview process equitable to all applicants, our fellowship interviews for applicants in 2023-2024 will be held exclusively virtually. We will not offer in-person site visits. The full recommendation is available here.
