Selection Process

From the pool of completed applications, the program director and faculty will select those individuals to invite for personal interview at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville campus. Interviews will be held between September and October.

Invited applicants will undergo a personal interview with the program director and faculty on site. Each interviewer, who has also reviewed all relevant application materials, will record his/her opinion, scoring applicants in areas including academic credentials, scholastic performance, professionalism, clinical competence, research potential, interpersonal skills, consistency of career plans with the goals and objectives of the program and other areas which would influence potential for success in the fellowship. The final decision on ranking is made by recommendation of the faculty.
