Program Director's Welcome General Cardiovascular Care Fellowship Dominick J. Angiolillo, M.D., Ph.D., FACC Program Director Welcome to the General Cardiovascular Care Fellowship in the division of cardiology, department of medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. This one-year training program primarily occurs at UF Health Jacksonville, a private not-for-profit tertiary care teaching facility near downtown Jacksonville. This 695-bed hospital is part of an academic health center that’s the region’s premier leader in the education of health professionals. Our campus is also a hub for clinical research and is a unique provider of high-quality patient care. We have the only adult and pediatric Level I trama center in Northeast Florida and a state-of-the-art Cardiovascular Center. In addition to our general cardiology training program, we have two robust subspecialty cardiology training programs in Interventional Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. Furthermore, fellows gain exposure to the hospital's Structural Heart and Valvular Disease Program, Peripheral Arterial Disease Program and a unique Women's Cardiovascular Program.
